Springtime Grape & Prosecco White Wine Sangria

PictureIt almost looks too beautiful to sip. Almost.
This is an original recipe based on a couple other white wine sangrias. That's the beauty of sangria recipes; they are easy to tweak to your liking.

1 bottle Pinot Grigio - or the white of your choosing
1/4 cup (or so) of sugar - use fine sugar if you have it
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
1 large lime or 2 small limes, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1-2 cups of green seedless grapes, sliced in half
Mint
1 cup of apple juice
1 small bottle of Prosecco
Club Soda or lemon-lime flavored sparkling water

Roughly 3-4 hours before you want to sip this lusciousness, mix the wine and sugar together. Stir it until all the sugar is dissolved. Add everything but the Prosecco and club soda and refrigerate it until it's time to party.

When it's time to party, fill glasses 2/3 full with the wine, top with a good glug of Prosecco and club soda. Garnish, if you want to be super fancy, and sip away.
